Will Brett Farve play better week #3 of the 2009 NFL preseason now that he has had a full week of practice with his new team under his belt? We will find out the answer to that question as the Minnesota Vikings visit the Houston Texans in this weeks addition of Monday Night Football on ESPN television. Right now the Houston Texans are a three and one half(-3.5) point favorite with the over / under total at thirty-eight and one half(38.5) points according to the offshore sportsbook Bookmaker.com which is “Where the Line Originates!”
This is a very tough match up to make a pick and my selection on this game is “opinion only,” but I will be betting on the Houston Texans. The bottom line here is I just don’t think Minnesota’s quarterback Brett Farve will be able to put many points on the board yet as he is still learning the Vikings offensive system and since I expect him the play the entire first half I do not see many points scored. Look for the Houston Texans to get out of the gate early on Monday night with a couple of touchdowns in the first half and then holding that lead in the 2nd half to get the betting money. This is a tough game to handicap. Bet with your head, not over it.
