This was a tough game to pick, but after several hours of handicapping I have decided to go with the Iowa State Cyclones in their 2009 Insight Bowl game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers this Thursday 12-31-09 evening on the NFL Network. This game is the perfect example as to why I think there are to many bowl game. The Minnesota Golden Gophers come into this bowl game six(6) wins and six(6) losses on the season losing four(4) of their last six(6) contests while the Iowa State Cyclones come into this game with the same six(6) wins and six(6) losses record while losing three(3) of their last four(4) matchups. The bottom line right here is this bowl game is absolute garbage between two(2) teams that have no business playing in the postseason and when you have a contest like the game we have here you always take the underdog which is why I will be betting on the Iowa State Cyclones in this spot on New Years Eve plus the small points!
